We are delighted to share that our talented Upper School Animation Club has once again won First Prize in the ISA Film and Animation Competition.
Their winning entry, ‘Goldilocks and the Stop-Motion Adventure‘ is a vibrant and imaginative short film that blends the best of music, mixed-media animation, and creative storytelling. The film cleverly takes the famous tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and puts a creative spin on the story. In addition to 2D stop-motion animation methods, the children also used mixed media such as paper, clay, Lego, and even rotoscoping to produce their film. The result is a delightfully-presented tale that left the competition judges thoroughly impressed.
This success is even more remarkable considering that this is the club’s third major prize in as many years, having won Second Prize in last year’s competition with their film ‘Star News’, and won First Prize in last year’s competition with their film ‘Why are Mothers so Great?’. Their continued excellence sets a high bar for what pupils can create when given creative freedom.
Congratulations to all Animation Club children for their astounding achievement. A huge thank you also goes to Miss Rock, whose inspiring leadership and guidance made this win possible once again.
