About The Gower School
Founded in 2000 by Principal Emma Gowers, The Gower School is an independent Montessori Nursery and Primary School based in Islington, London, welcoming children from 6 months to 11 years of age. Guided by the Montessori ethos, our curriculum encourages children to be independent, enquiring and articulate, which are skills that stay with them long after they leave our classrooms. We hope this portal gives you a real sense of the warmth, curiosity and ambition that define life at The Gower School. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.

We are proud to be a highly international community of children, teachers and parents. The Gower School holds Highly Trusted Student Sponsorship status with UKVI and is able to issue sponsorship for overseas child students subject to meeting Immigration Rules. We understand that moving internationally can be quite daunting!
