Form 6 Pupils Honour Fallen at Islington Green War Memorial

On Remembrance Sunday, The Gower School’s Year 6 pupils joined the Mayor of Islington, local MPs and members of the armed forces in a procession from Highbury Fields down Upper Street to the Islington Green War Memorial.

Our Form Head Girl and Head Boy took part in the official ceremony, laying a wreath made of hand-sewn poppies crafted by Form 1 and Form 2 children. This school tribute served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many in service of peace and freedom.
