75 Pupils Earn Top Marks in LAMDA Exams

Another successful LAMDA exam day in early June 2023 resulted in top graded LAMDA certificates awarded to a total of 75 TGS children. This was fourteen more children taking LAMDA exams and very popular LAMDA lessons. 

The children once again achieved outstanding results, with 100% of students passing with a Merit or Distinction for their performances. 65 children earned a Distinction, the highest possible result, while the remaining 10 were commended with a Merit by the examiners. 

According to LAMDA’s official Acting Syllabus to earn a Distinction means that a child has ‘performed the sense of the piece in a clear and engaging way’ and complemented their acting with ‘imaginative body language and facial expression’.  

These truly remarkable results speak to the strength of our team of qualified, experienced LAMDA teachers. In their weekly lessons, children improve their powers of self-expression, expand their vocabulary, learn to read easily and fluently, improve their confidence in speaking and listening, and strengthen their memories and ability to recall information.
