TGS raises £710 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Throughout the Autumn Term, The Gower School Primary School and Nursery held several Macmillan Coffee Mornings for our parent community. This was a wonderful way to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This important charity offers ​​specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.

Our weekly Coffee Mornings saw fantastic turnouts and we are very grateful to the many parents who supported the event.  Parents joined us for baking, buying or drinking a coffee. We also held a cake sale at each of our schools. Thanks to our generous Primary school and Nursery communites, we raised a total of £710.29.  

Thank you to everyone for supporting our Coffee Mornings throughout the term. It is wonderful to have achieved this amount for such an important charity. Raising money for such an important cause was the perfect way to start the Autumn Term!
