Founded in 2000 by Principal Emma Gowers, The Gower School is an independent Montessori Nursery and Primary School based in Islington, London, welcoming children from 6 months to 11 years of age.

Guided by the Montessori ethos, we combine time-honoured teaching methods with a broad, creative curriculum. Our approach encourages children to be independent, enquiring and articulate, which are skills that stay with them long after they leave our classrooms.
