We are absolutely delighted to share that our talented Upper School Animation Club has once again wowed with their creative film, winning Second Prize in the prestigious ISA Film and Animation Competition.
Their winning entry, Star News, is a vibrant and imaginative short film that blends the best of music, animation, and storytelling. The film cleverly takes the form of a television news report covering a talent competition, complete with real teachers starring as judges and live musical performances recorded by the children themselves. The result? A showstopping celebration of creativity that left the competition judges thoroughly impressed.
This success is even more remarkable considering that the club won First Prize in last year’s competition, making this group of 11 pupils true film laureates. Their continued excellence sets a high bar for what pupils can create when given creative freedom.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the children involved for their dedication, artistry, and teamwork. A huge thank you also goes to Miss Rock, whose inspiring leadership and guidance made this achievement possible once again.
We warmly invite you to watch Star News and enjoy the brilliant work of our young animators:
