TGS Atheletes Qualify for National Swimming and Cross Country Competitions

This month has been an exciting one for sport at TGS, with our talented pupils making waves both in the pool and on the cross-country course.

Swimming

Earlier this month, thirteen TGS swimmers from Forms 4 to 6 dove into action at the annual ISA London North Swimming Gala, where they certainly made a splash! Our athletes showed remarkable speed in the pool, racing their best against strong competition from other independent schools across North London.

Team TGS brought home an impressive haul of ten medals: one Gold, two Silvers, and six Bronzes. Placing first automatically qualifies swimmers for the National ISA Swimming Gala, which takes place in late November. We are thrilled to have three swimmers representing TGS at the national level this year.

Cross Country Running

Earlier this month, sixteen pupils from Forms 3, 4, 5, and 6 took part in the ISA London North Cross-Country Competition. Drawing on their experience from our weekly Park Run and Running Club, each runner tackled the challenging, muddy course with resilience and determination. Every child gave their all and represented the school superbly. Congratulations to five children for qualifying for the ISA National Cross-Country Competition, which will take place in the Spring Term.
