Another Bushcraft adventure for TGS children

Our new Years Five and Six children had an exciting trip to our annual Bushcraft camp, this year in Northamptonshire. The children enjoyed a range of outdoor activities with some sleep included within all the fun!

The children loved all of the activities. They designed tribe names and flags, did archery and tomahawk throwing, made bracelets, learnt how to use cutting tools to make a tent peg, built shelters, learnt first aid skills and are now well prepared for any emergency. They are now so prepared they can make their own fire and cook their own meal on it, which could also be from their hand made trap they can now make!

The Year Five children are already looking forward to their next Buschraft adventure next year.
