There are many new activities introduced in this group. A weekly visit to the library starts with Les Petits Lapins. We start a twice-daily circle time and group storytelling, and there are lots of exciting times in the garden.

There is a lovely home corner with lots of pots and pans for play cooking and dressing up clothes and accessories. We do not make the children join in with activities, we set the room out with lots of different toys, games and activities and then encourage them to roam and have the freedom of choice. We do find that they copy other children, and in this way parents are often amazed that they will not only sit at the table for meals but also try lots of new foods out!
