The baby
unit provides the best possible care for the very youngest children
between the ages of 3 months and 18 months. Under the age of 12 months,
there are 2 babies to one member of staff, then from 12 to 18 months,
there are 3 babies per member of staff. Babies enjoy happy, stimulating
days with plenty of time for discovery, play, fresh air and sleep!
Babies at The Gower School enjoy time each day exploring - either with their Treasure Basket or during Heuristic Play. Staff are certified by Tiny Talk UK, and baby signing is an integral part of the day. Their room is well equipped with a range of sensory toys for stimulation, and children have plenty of fresh air each day either in the baby garden play area or out in our two 6 seater wagons!
