As part of their preparation for school, children in Les Papillons wear a simple uniform and are taught in a separate classroom. Our classrooms are well resourced with a wide range of Montessori and traditional learning materials. Every day each little person spends time working individually with a qualified member of staff, helping to improve & develop language, reading, writing, numeracy and computer skills. Weekly French sessions, drama, yoga, gardening and cookery all contribute to our varied curriculum.

Children may enter the group on a part time basis, and the term after their third birthday they are offered a core day place (9am to 4pm) which can be extended if parents require further childcare hours. The morning sesssions involve the main work cycle, and in the afternoons specialists for drama, yoga and French work with the children, there are regular sports sessions and arts and crafts each afternoon too.
