TGS is proud of the schools close relationship with parents – it is essential that the school is able to support parents and communicate clearly in the long journey through early years and primary education. We have an extensive range of parents workshops on a range of areas, which aim to update parents on the latest educational thinking, the Montessori approach and strategies to support your child through school.

We also are licensed to run the Empowered Parenting course, which operates each term for 5 consecutive 2.5 hour sessions. This course is highly recommended by all former participants, operates with a small group of 12 parents and covers areas of child development, psychology and positive language as well as focusing on ways to help your child with language, maths and creativity. Parents are requested to commit to the 5 sessions and to pay a small charge in recognition of this.
We run an annual parents First Aid course, which parents find very useful and a great comfort, providing confidence for families.
